Austin Miller – Razorfish

This past summer, I had the incredible opportunity to work as a Project Management Intern at Razorfish’s Seattle office. Razorfish is a Digital Marketing Agency that works at the intersection of marketing and technology, and they have offices across the globe. I have never learned so much in such a short period of time. Over the course of my internship, I worked across multiple teams on a variety of projects, and every day was completely different from the next.

Over the course of 10 weeks, I managed the logistics of a consumer research study for a large telecommunications company, I worked alongside Senior Project Managers to ensure on-time delivery of several multimillion-dollar projects, I administered an online content management system, I designed a visual process for allocating resources, and I competed in week-long marketing case competition, designing an interactive digital media campaign for an auto-manufacturer. I worked both independently and on teams, and I truly felt that the work I was doing was making a difference.

Interning at Razorfish showed me that going to work every day CAN be fun, and I couldn’t recommend their internship program more highly. For everyone out there applying for internships, BE YOURSELF. Let your passion and uniqueness shine through, and the rest will be history.
