Foster now accepts the Executive Assessment for admissions into part-time MBA programs

Effective immediately, the University of Washington Foster School of Business will accept the Executive Assessment (EA) as an option when fulfilling the testing requirements for admission into all work compatible MBA programs—those with a part-time format that allow students to work full-time while earning their degree.

mba students“We are thrilled to provide applicants the additional option of taking the Executive Assessment. With greater emphasis on professional experience, we believe that the EA is positioned to better assess the academic capacity of working professionals,” said Morgan Sage, Associate Director of the Technology Management MBA program.

The Executive Assessment is a new exam from GMAC, the organization that administers the GMAT. According to GMAC, the EA was designed with working professionals in mind, to evaluate relevant workplace skills in a convenient testing format. The test is 90 minutes in duration, with 40 questions that cover integrated reasoning, verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning.

“Many potential students come to the table, anxious that a standardized test will not reflect the knowledge that they’ve gained in the real world. We want those students to feel more confident walking into the testing room with an assessment that better aligns with their skills and expertise,” said Jodey Farwell, Director of the Hybrid MBA program.
