I have always had a great interest in business, especially its intersection with tech. I have had far more experience with tech and the industry, so I was looking for a way to get some experience within the field of business. BIG Consulting was suggested to me by a friend in another club, so I decided to try it out, and I am so thankful that I did. I was initially nervous after getting into the program. I was worried about whether I would be able to make contributions to my team, not get overwhelmed, and just not hold my team back, especially since I had never done anything similar to this before. However, my team was great, and my project manager Selina constantly supported us, making the process of working on our project a lot easier.

Working with PIM Savvy was great as well. April and Marc were always eager to work with us, and they paid great attention to our presentations and gave us great feedback and let us know which of our ideas and conclusions stood out most to them. Selina grouped me and one of my other team members, Phi, to work on the recruitment research aspect, where we essentially had to look for methods for PIM Savvy to grow employee wise and construct a feasible timeline for PIM Savvy to operate on. Working with Phi was great, and we consistently communicated between each other, which made our work a lot more efficient. I feel that we developed a great strategy for PIM Savvy, and I truly hope that it can help them grow as a company.

Davin, our professional advisor, was also incredibly helpful. Every presentation without fail he gave us great advice, and he thoroughly read through our written documents to leave us feedback, all of which helped me understand how I should write and deliver information to the client, while also helping me improve on my research strategies and analysis. At the end of the program, he was also kind enough to recommend books and reports to us about fields we were interested in, and I am, incredibly thankful to him for that.
