U.S. News ranks Foster #19 of 514 best undergraduate business schools

The Undergraduate Program at the University of Washington Foster School of Business ranks #19 of 514 schools nationwide, #9 among public schools, and #1 in the Northwest in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Undergraduate Business Programs 2022 Rankings.

Six Foster academic programs were also recognized for national prominence: Accounting (#16), International Business (#20), Finance (#22), Management (#23), Marketing (#25), and Entrepreneurship (#27).

Foster among top public business schools for employment results

Earlier this year, Poets & Quants ranked the Foster School #22 in the nation, #11 among public schools, and #1 in the Northwest of 93 schools in the 2021 Best Undergraduate Business Programs. Foster’s high ranking was based on strong employment results (#15) as well as admissions quality (#22). 95% of Foster students were hired within 3 months of graduation by a diverse range of employers including Accenture, Amazon, Boeing, Deloitte, EY, Highspot, KPMG, Microsoft, Moss Adams, Protiviti, PwC, Standish Management, Starbucks, T-Mobile, and Tableau Software.

A world-class research institution 

The 2021 Academic Ranking of World Universities recently named the Foster School #15 in the world for research in the area of business administration; having scored especially high for publications in top journals and citations, which indicates superior quantity, quality, and influence. Earlier this year, Financial Times ranked the Foster School faculty #4 in the world and #1 among U.S. public business schools for its publishing record in the 50 most influential academic journals.
