UW Celebrates First Graduating Class of the Hybrid MBA Program

Inaugural Class Graduates  

Inspiration and celebration flowed on June 10, 2019, as the Foster School of Business honored 46 students in the inaugural graduating class of the Hybrid MBA Program. Launched in 2017, the Hybrid MBA program format95% online and 5% in-person on campus, allows students to engage in the renowned UW Foster academic experience from wherever they live across the United States. This inaugural cohort represents 30 companies and spans 7 states, including Washington, Oregon, Alaska, California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C. 

Final Accounting Lesson 

The Hybrid MBA class of 2019 voted Accounting professor and newly appointed Dean of the Foster School, Frank Hodge, to receive the Hybrid MBA Excellence in Teaching Award. He has been their professor for Financial Reporting and Analysis in their first quarter of the two year, six quarter program. Dr. Hodge responded with one final “In the News” video for the Hybrid MBAs.
