A Diverse and Accomplished Inaugural Class for the Master of Science in Business Analytics Program

Thirty-one students accepted the invitation to join the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program this summer in its inaugural year. Students join the program from all parts of the world including, here in the Pacific Northwest, and spanning countries like Australia, China, and India. It is a remarkably diverse student body, both geographically and in terms of gender representation. The class is 54% female and 46% male.   

The incoming class has average of 4.06 years of work experience that range from 0 years of work experience up to 15 years. Their industry backgrounds include consumer products, financial services, and technology. The class of 2020 is an exceptionally scholarly cohort with 30% of incoming students already holding a master’s degree in another discipline.  

The MSBA program is excited to welcome the class of 2020 to the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington!
