Seattle Growth Podcast 3.4: What Seattle natives see

Seattle’s population has grown an astounding 15.4 percent since the start of the decade.

For tens of thousands of newcomers to Seattle, this fast-growing city is all they’ve known. But tucked within the new houses, apartments and condos and surrounded by a sea of construction cranes are long-time Seattleites who grew up in a very different town.

In episode 3 of the Seattle Growth Podcast, Season 3, meet three people who have logged more than a combined century of living in Seattle.

Damon Bomar, Wendy Colgan and Alisha Cross share the challenges that their city’s transformation is presenting to them, and offer insight into how Seattle’s continuing growth and change will impact, in time, even recent arrivals.
