Jon Scholes is the president and CEO of the Downtown Seattle Association, a 2,000-member non-profit organization whose mission is to create a healthy, vibrant downtown by advocating on issues of transportation, economic development and the urban experience.

Mike Slade, co-founder of the venture capital firm Second Avenue Partners, is a veteran of Microsoft, where he introduced world-renowned software products including Excel and Office, and Starwave, where as CEO he launched high-profile sites including ESPN.com, NBA.com and ABCNews.com.
