Seattle Growth Podcast 6.2: Finding community in art and technology

Season six of the Seattle Growth Podcast explores how Seattleites are building or finding a sense of community in a city that is growing like Himalayan blackberry and transforming before our eyes.

Episode 6.2 features two prominent connectors of Seattle’s arts and tech communities.

Farah Abdallah, a lead product manager at eBay who co-founded the Seattle chapter of Women in Product, shares how she collaborated with Claire Fang of Facebook to bring together hundreds of women in Seattle who are building products for some of the world’s most innovative companies.

And Kevin Sur, founder of Artist Home, shares how his desire to help people and build community evolved into a successful business that serves as a collaborative hub for artists and a producer of many popular area music festivals such as Timber! Outdoor.
