Steve Singh on UW, opportunity, and leadership

Steve Singh has served as Concur’s CEO since 1996 and created a culture of great people who cared about each other and creating an impact. He focuses on the team, and uses the unique attributes that make people who they are, to bring out the best in them and succeed as a unit. Prior to Concur, Mr. Singh served as the general manager of the Contact Management Division at Symantec Corporation. He currently serves on the boards of directors for Cleartrip.com and ModuMetal and serves as a strategic director at the Madrona Venture Group, a director at the Washington Roundtable, a member of the Washington Board of Trustees for the Nature Conservancy, and a member of the Advisory Board for the UW Foster School of Business. In January 2015, Mr. Singh was named to SAP’s Global Managing Board and leads the SAP Business Network Group, which brings together the teams from Ariba, Fieldglass, and Concur.

Mr. Singh was the recipient of the Foster School’s Distinguished Leadership Award, the school’s highest non-degree honor. He received the award at the Foster School’s 24th Annual Business Leadership Celebration on October 22, 2015. Distinguished Leadership Awardees are champions in their communities and companies. They embody strong leadership values while building a company that defines the Northwest community.
