TMMBA is excited to announce several students from the TMMBA Class of 2017 have been selected to join the 2016-2017 Board Fellows Program hosted by the Foster School’s Consulting and Business Development Center.

The Board Fellows Program places Foster MBA and Evans MPA students as non-voting board members of local nonprofit organizations for one academic year. This opportunity allows students to have a real world glimpse into the inner workings of a non-profit board and they are able to apply their academic and professional experience in service of the non-profit community. Nonprofit agencies participating in the program reach diverse communities and focus on a wide variety of causes, including education, social services, environmental issues, arts and entertainment, and health. During the course of the program, student fellows attend monthly board meetings, join a board committee, and complete a board-level project.

The selected TMMBA students are Jennifer An for Chief Seattle Club, Ben Mussi for Rotary First Harvest, Jennifer Chan for Tiny Trees Preschool and Sarah Rodrigues for Communities in Schools of Seattle. In the coming months, we will be excited to see how the Board Fellows experience adds value to their MBA and career path.
