Foster Undergraduate Program moves up 10 spots to #23 in Poets & Quants ranking

Poets and Quants ranked the Foster School #23, #10 among public schools, and #1 in the Northwest in the Best Undergraduate Business Programs Of 2017. Foster advanced 10 places from last year based on strong results for admissions quality (#18) and student experience (#24). Poets and Quants surveyed 93 of the nation’s top business schools and 82 qualified for the second annual ranking.

Foster Undergraduate Program ranked #5 for hiring bonuses, #10 for access to dream jobs

Graduating business students were especially competitive for bonuses, with more than a third securing an average signing bonus of $10,441. Overall, the total compensation for 2017 graduates averaged $62,199, and Foster ranked #10 for helping students connect with their dream careers.

Graduates from the Foster School of Business were hired by a diverse range of desirable employers including Accenture, Amazon, Boeing Company, CBRE, Deloitte, EY, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, KeyBank, Microsoft, Moss Adams, Nordstrom, PwC, Russell Investments, and Starbucks.

Ranking emphasizes quality of admissions, student experience and career results

The Poets and Quants ranking equally weighs admission standards, alumni satisfaction with the quality of the academic experience, and career outcomes. The ranking is based on hard data self-reported by schools, including average SAT scores and acceptance rates for the incoming class of students, total starting compensation and employment percentages for the Class of 2017, and answers by alumni about their undergraduate experience.
