1st Year UW Evening MBAs Place 2nd at Northwest ACG Cup
Congratulations to the 1st year evening MBA team, consisting of Dr. Silvana Saieh Yidi, Brandon Abang, Travis Boyd, and Abe Curry, with Faculty Advisor. PhD Candidate Lucas Rooney for their 2nd place in finish in the Northwest Regional ACG Cup® sponsored by Umpqua Bank.
The ACG Cup® brings together students from leading MBA programs across the country for a case competition where students strategize and find solutions in finance-related cases in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, and private equity.
The evening MBA team was selected for regionals after winning the intramural competition, competing against 11 other schools in the semi-finals and competed in the regional competition finals March 1st in Portland, Or. This competition includes teams from both full-time and evening MBA programs.
Again, congratulations to the team in their 1st year of the MBA program at Foster!
