2016 Foster Study Abroad Photo Contest Winners!

The Global Business Center is very happy to present the winners and 2nd place recipients of its 10th Annual Foster Study Abroad Photo Contest. This year’s entries are visual representations of the transformative and unique global experiences that the Global Business Center facilitates for students each year. These amazing photos come from all over the world, and the photo titles and captions help bring these experiences and the student’s perspectives to life even further. Both current Foster students and Foster alumni submitted photos of their study abroad experiences.

Students and Alums submitted their photos to one of the following categories:

  1. Foster Spirit: Photos showing off Foster/UW swag abroad
  2. Passport to the world: A photo that inspires others to study abroad
  3. My Global Lens: A photo that displays views uniquely accessible to students living abroad – social issues, cultural interactions, cityscapes, landscapes, etc.
  4. Throwback: A special category with photos capturing the essence of Alumni experiences abroad

Foster School Faculty and Staff judged photos based on creativity, quality, originality, and overall impact. The winning photos received the most votes within their particular category. The People’s Choice winning photo received the greatest number of votes by the general public.

Enjoy these spectacular photos!
