Everything you need to know about the GRE and GMAT
All MSBA applicants are required to take either the GRE or the GMAT. Here are the basic differences:

Should I take the GRE or the GMAT?
Not sure which to take? Take a sample test of each to see which one you prefer. If you are applying to other business programs, the GMAT is the best bet. Many business programs require the GMAT for admissions consideration. Use this comparative infographic to help you decide. No matter which test you take, we recommend that you take the exam no later than two weeks prior to the application deadline to ensure we receive the official scores in time.

The GMAT or GRE is probably the most challenging piece of the app to schedule in advance. Be sure to sign up for a GMAT or GRE test date early enough to ensure the test scores are sent at least two weeks before the application is due.
Take practice tests to self-assess.
Sample test scores will give you a baseline of how you score and help you determine where you need to improve. Here is a great list of GRE prep tests and another list of GMAT prep tests.
Make a study plan.
Once you know where your strengths and weaknesses are, work on them. It’s up to you to determine how much preparation is needed before taking the test. You can use self-study test prep materials or take a structured prep class online or in person.
