In the first of three special episodes of the Seattle Growth Podcast, former Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn offers insights into Seattle’s past, present and future.
McGinn discusses the city’s growth during his term as mayor from 2010 through 2013, as well as the challenges and opportunities he sees for the city’s future. The conversation touches on many of the issues of season one of the podcast—housing, transit, traffic, public services—as well as the efforts to bring back the Seattle SuperSonics via a new or renovated arena, as explored in season two.
