TMMBA heading to Germany & Estonia in 2017
The TMMBA Program is pleased to announce that Berlin, Germany and Tallinn, Estonia will be the destinations for the 2017 TMMBA International Study Tour (IST). The Study Tour, which is an optional 2 credit C/NC course, will take place over spring break in March of 2017. It allows students, staff, and faculty to experience the dynamics of international business and culture first-hand, through personal meetings with executives, entrepreneurs, company visits, government agencies and cultural excursions.

Germany Overview
- 5th largest economy in world, Europe’s largest economy
- Leading exporter of machinery, vehicles, chemical and household equipment

Key Industries include:
Germany: iron, machinery, vehicles, electronics
Berlin: logistics/transportation, mechanical & electric manufacturing, technology, chemicals/pharmaceuticals, food/beverage
Estonia Overview
- Modern, market-based economy
- One of higher per capita income levels in Central Europe and Baltic region.
- Free market, pro-business agenda
- Strong telecommunications and electronics sectors
Key Industries include:
Estonia: engineering, electronics, wood & wood products, textiles, information technology
Tallinn: engineering, electronics, wood & wood products, textiles
We can’t wait to travel to these countries! Students will be able to utilize business concepts, skills and strategic insights in a new cultural context and apply them to their organization. Also, they will have a lot of fun and learn more about each other during the trip.
