Master of Science in Taxation Students Employed!

Names of employers in the shape of a W

The Master of Science in Taxation students, class of 2021, can now boast that all of the students will be employed upon graduation. Of the 52 students in MST this year, 50 of them have full time positions while two are heading off to promising internships.

When this academic year started amidst lockdowns and fear in the economy, there was some concern about the job outlook. This combined with one of the largest classes ever, made job placement before graduation seem like a longshot. However, due to

  • an outstanding group of students,
  • one of the best taxation degrees in the world,
  • the fabulous Foster Career Services,
  • a high demand for tax professionals,
  • and employers who get all that,

..everyone got something.

Most of the MST students will be staying in the Seattle/Bellevue area but many others are heading to California to start their careers. All the big firms (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Moss Adams, PWC) are well represented this year, but we also want to recognize the many regional firms who hired our students (Andersen, Armanino, BDO, Berntson Porter, Clark Nuber, CLA, Grant Thornton, KBF, RSM, Sweeney Conrad).

Congratulations to the MST class of 2021!
