Mentoring is a way to pay back the universe. I have benefited tremendously from mentors and champions throughout my career. And my philosophy is give-give-get. I want to give twice what I received so I don’t leave this world with any societal debt.
I also believe that mentoring is a 2-way street. On paper, I may be mentoring someone, but I’m learning from them as much, if not more, as they may be hearing from me.
