Why Foster?: I chose the Foster School of Business because I believe it truly sets its students up for success. Whether it is through its connections, clubs, resources, and events, there is something for everyone. Not only that, I appreciate Foster’s efforts in upholding Diversity. It is a place where everyone’s ideas are valued, and where differences are leveraged to strive for a fun and inclusive learning environment.
Over Summer Break I…interned with the Boeing Company. I had the chance to work within the Defense, Space & Security (BDS) division where in I learned all about supplier management and more specifically, the roles of procurement agents and procurement financial analysts.
After graduation, I plan to…utilize my accounting and finance background and combine it with my passion for serving the community to pursue a Masters in Public Policy or Masters in Public Administration.
Advice to future students: Know your core values and don’t compromise them. As cliche as it may sound, stay true to yourself.
Favorite place to study: When I need to study by myself, I prefer my room because I like being comfortable when I study, and I’m of those people who take up so much space for no reason! But when I’m with a study group, Foster’s team rooms or Savery are my go-to!
Favorite place to eat on the Ave: You can’t go wrong with Best of Bento. Great price for great portions, and the happy hour menu from 4-7 pm is a great deal! If you are craving anything from katsu to teriyaki to sushi, this is the place to go!
