Hybrid MBA Program Ranked #4 Best Online MBA in Nation
Foster’s Hybrid MBA rose to the #4 spot in the U.S. in the Poets & Quants Best Online MBA Programs of 2022 ranking, signaling the continued excellence of the Foster community in helping its students accelerate their leadership development. The ranking is based on admissions, academic experience and career outcomes.
“Although the Foster community does not define our success by rankings outcomes, we are proud to be recognized for our ongoing commitment to excellence in the development experiences we afford students. We strive to live our purpose of working together to foster leaders who better humanity through business,” says Dan Turner, Associate Dean, Masters Programs. “Starting with a diverse, talented student community, Foster provides a premier online student experience across academic, leadership, and professional development dimensions that allows alumni to elevate their impact on the world.”
Admissions Excellence
Foster placed #4 in admissions excellence which includes standardized test scores, undergraduate GPA and professional work experience. Foster’s admissions committee evaluates various selection measures to create the right balance of business acumen, soft skills and leadership potential.
“We are thrilled that Poets & Quants have recognized the measure that we have taken to create the most equitable admissions process possible. We are continually innovating our admissions process to become more inclusive and promote diversity. The admissions committee looks beyond the paper and evaluates the applicant individually and holistically.” – Jodey Farwell, Hybrid MBA Director
Quality Career Outcomes and Academic Experience
Foster also received high marks around career outcomes and academic experience, based on program alumni feedback. Foster’s curriculum design and student experience with its 95% online and 5% in-person coursework is a winning combination.
“Foster provided me teamworking tools that helped me work better in ambiguity, overall business acumen that helped me operate better in a more visible role, and frankly a self-confidence that I may have not had otherwise.” – Andy Andrews, Hybrid MBA Student, Class of ’22
The program offers robust career management offerings including 1:1 career coaching, professional development workshops and the program’s signature career treks that went virtual this past year during the pandemic.
“The Hybrid MBA program provided me everything that I could have asked for including career support, broadening my network, thought provoking lectures, and student experience opportunities. This experience has been additionally fulfilling because I have been able to apply my learnings directly to my career in real time.” – Steve Mortenson, Hybrid MBA Alum ’21
