World Affairs Council Offers Membership to New CISB Grads

The World Affairs Council has generously offered free one-year membership to new CISB grads to deepen connections to the global business community in Seattle. The council, whose mission is to elevate global IQ in the greater Seattle area, hosts heads of state and other government leaders from around the world. They create training for teachers to help ensure their classrooms are global classrooms and their students are ready to be global citizens. They bring the world to Seattle by working with the State Department on their exchange programs that bring emerging and emergent global leaders to our city. Through this programming, the Council provides the community with opportunities to hear from and be heard by policy and though leaders on some of the most pressing global issues of the day.

Members will gain access to events with visiting leaders in the international community, community programming from world-renowned speakers, and internationally-focused networking opportunities with young professionals. Says WAC board president and CISB alum Thao Hong, “We are pleased to support CISB graduates in their continuing path to learning about the world and beyond.”

Thanks to Thao for helping to open doors for our CISB graduates!
