On Wednesday, April 24, 2019 the Foster School of Business’s Global Business Center (GBC) & Certificate of International Studies in Business (CISB) will be hosting the second annual Global Leadership Summit. As a part of the UW 2019 Earth Week, this largely undergraduate student run event aims to explore ways to enact responsible and sustainable change in one’s career. Students and community members from all fields of study and industries are encouraged to participate and learn from the dynamic group of guest speakers representing the many facets of globally responsible leadership in Washington State and beyond.

More about the GLS

Who has been involved?

UW Foster Senior Ben Weymiller, as Sustainability Chair for the UW Foster Certificate of International Studies in Business (CISB) Program, has been planning this event in conjunction with the Global Business Center and CISB for the past few months. Ben heads a team of UW undergraduate students – Nabilla GunawanEmily Menz, Ricky Perry and Sydney Solis – who together have been driving the session topics and organizing the speakers for the evening. Thank you to this fantastic team of undergraduate student leaders for their efforts in organizing this event.
