Foster the Product: What to expect in different phases of product management

Kavita Kamani (MBA 2007), the principal director of program management on Microsoft’s Supply Chain Engineering team, was the inaugural speaker of the new “Foster the Product” series which debuted November 5.

Foster the Product, presented by the new Product Management Center at the UW Foster School of Business, is an opportunity to connect with people and ideas that can advance a product career.

In the first session, Kamani, a 2007 graduate of the Foster School’s Technology Management MBA Program, shared valuable insights with the audience of students, alumni and practitioners from the broader product community.

Foster the Product sessions take place online the first Thursday of every month.

Next up is Jennifer Cast, Amazon’s 25th employee, who will present on “Working backwards from the customer” on December 3.
